Global address list in exchange 2016 is not updating match and dating site
I created a new OAB with both distribution methods this morning.
I ran the commands you recommended and tried it about 4 hours after that. As another way to troubleshoot the problem, I created a new profile for Outlook.
If your company hosts its email system using Microsoft Exchange, you have the benefit of a centrally-managed address book called the Global Address List, or GAL.
Maintained by your IT department and stored on the Exchange server, the GAL usually contains names, addresses and email information for everyone in your organization with a company email address.
I'm wondering if anyone has anyone has any tips that could help me address this issue. Are you using web or public folder distribution for the OAB? If you are on Outlook 2010, any reason you are still using public folder distribution?
I created an alternative OAB, connected it to the Default GAL, made that OAB the defualt OAB, and tried to download it through Outlook. The first thing I would do is switch to either web only or mixed (web and public folder).
Then Active Sync synchronizes those changes to each user's device. The address book could be your Exchange GAL, an Exchange address list, or an Exchange Public Folder.
Once you've configured Epicenter Server, updates are sent automatically on your given schedule.
At the same time, Exchange 2016 helps lower the total cost of ownership whether you deploy Exchange 2016 on-premises or provision your mailboxes in the cloud.
Additionally, users and administrators can use the Exchange organization's GAL to create and edit distribution lists.
Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Technet Web site.
Once the contacts are in users' mailbox in Outlook, their smartphones will synchronize the contacts.
Additions, deletions and changes are automatically applied to keep contacts up to date.
No additional software is required on the phones or tablets.
